Running Partners

Here are our suggestions for having Spiritual running partners. Get together with one or two other people every week and ask these questions to each other. The ideal situation would be to have one person that is more mature in the Faith and one who is less mature in the Faith than you. Ladies, pick one or two other ladies. Guys, pick one or two other guys. Come up with your own guidelines, covenant, rules, whatever. The main point is that you get together and help each other grow, just like running partners would encourage, challenge, be honest, listen and help each other become better runners. If you have not commited your life to a Rio Link, then that is the start. First and foremost, join a Rio Link, commit to it, have a servant-heart toward the group, and see what God does. The Bible says, "Iron sharpens Iron." Here are suggested questions to ask each time you get together with your spiritual running partners.

What do you think God is doing in your life right now?
How have you experienced the fruit of God’s Spirit lately?
How have you treated those you do life with?
What’s a sin you’ve been conscious of this week?
What’s one thing you will intentionally do to help you stay connected to God in this area you struggle with?
