Summary
In this chapter and the three to follow, Solomon shares observations gleaned during the course of his search.

verses 1-5
to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

Question?? What is Solomon saying?
God has a plan for all of us. Barriers shouldn't keep us from believing in God. Look at barriers as opportunities to discover that without God, these problems have no lasting solution.

Question?? What does it mean when it says "God has set eternity in the hearts of men?"
We can't be completely satisfied with earthly things - pleasures/pursuits.

Collosians 3:23-24 23Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly as though you were working for your real master and not merely for humans.24 You know that your real master will give you an inheritance as your reward. It is Christ, your real master, whom you are serving.
